Material: solid old spruce, oil varnish.
Technique: carving.
The light texture makes it possible to focus on dynamics of the composition and emphasize the strength and aspiration to take off. Another couple of wingbeats, and the goose will take off the lake surface starting a new flight. The finest detailing and elaborating of each feather is tribute to this majestic and beautiful bird.
